I have an RODI system but the only faucet I can attach it to is the outdoor hose and with winter coming I will no longer be able to use it. I’m wondering if it’s possible to fill a water reservoir and use a pump to push the water through the RODI unit. I could maybe buy one with adjustable gph to clock in the pressure to 60psi?
is this plausible? I don’t really know much about the mechanics of it other then it cleans my atrocious tap water.

And why can't it be hooked up to the kitchen sink, and stowed away when not in use? Every faucet has a screw in aerator that can be unscrewed and the RO/DI unit screwed into it with a simple adapter most RO/DI units come with.

Sounds like your creating more problems then just hooking it up to another sink.

Of course as long as the PSI is on the up and up(min I believe is 60PSI), no reason it can't work. Many people with wells and high CO2, make RO, then empty in a container for 24 hours to off gas the CO2, then opump it through a separate DI canister.
