Wow, some of these stations on here are really impressive! This is my American ugly mixing station in my fishroom my wife once thought was a laundry room lol. Just like my sump, it may not be on the aesthetically appealing side, but it does what I need it to. I'll be adding an ATO soon.

Why do some photos post sideways on here?

I found two reasons the size of the image is too big. An there may not be a top designated in the photo meta data. The final issue happens a lot with smartphone images.

Well I just ordered up two tanks to match Chris...thanks for sharing the info.

Might arrive later this week. My new RODI unit is coming today UPS. So time start setting it all up. I am ready to get water going.

Love your water station setup! Very neat, clean, and well thought out. Are you using 2 sediment filters on your RODI or is one of those for chloramines?

As simple and inexpensive as I could make it. Left tank fed by ro through a float switch. First tank can pump water to either of the other two tanks. Center tank has kalk and used as ato controlled by float switches. Third tub is saltwater and can be controlled by float switches to refill automatically during a water change. No hauling water.

I have a 3 way valve that I dump the fist few min of high tds and allow the membrane to stabilize befor it's sent threw di

Here is my mixing station. Left is RODI, right is NSW. Only thing not pictured is a DIY BoB for monitoring water levels and other stuff and some RO lines from 3 Grey Beard Pumps coming out of the wall by the power outlet that run all the way to the tank for AWC (DT water out line comes in and goes to QT and NSW line goes back to DT) and ATO setup using my Apex. Both my AWC and TO utilize salinity readings and pull either NSW or RODI to maintain 1.026 SG almost exactly. No more manual buckets like shown in the picture and more consistency!

QT tanks are setup around the corner to the right (not pictured) that just fill with tank water from AWC and top off with RODI. QT is off-line right now as I'm not adding anything currently.

I just have a couple of 55 gallon drums tucked away in a closet. One fresh and one salt. Pumps in both barrels to move water. Both on dollies, so I can move them easily. Not fancy, but works ok for me.

I could totally do this in my laundry room. But does running the dryer and the heat ever tamper with the desired result? My laundry room doesn't have ac/heater.

Highly doubtful it would cause an issue. Large temp differences between the barrel and DT when doing large water changes could be problematic, but it would take a lot of heat to get the water to a temp that would cause an issue, and I doubt your laundry room gets even close to the temp, and if so, I doubt it's long enough.
