Well I lost all my torches recently and think it was from high nitrates. I cannot get cheato to stay growing in the arid reactor so I sold the reactor then I tried cheato in the refugium and it to slowly died off. So in left the refugium light on for a few weeks and hair algea grew so now I have a hair algea refugium that has brought my nitrates into check. I have a rain2 algea scrubber on order that should be delivered soon. Here is a picture of a recent algea cleaning out of my sump. So far in happy with what the hair algea is doing in the refugium

It works very well cleaning is not to bad either. This is a week of growth since I cleaned it last. Rain 2 scrubber will be here Tuesday. What blows my mind is I never have had algea in my display. I just cant believe how much is growing and so well in the sump
