Does this look like brown jelly to you? It was happy for 8 months up till 2 days ago. The heads aren't fully split so I cant frag it. I really dont want to lose it. I've been applying peroxide to the area in Hope's it saves it

I’ve used Lugols dips on my torch before and it seemed to work (although I never did any microscope tests to verify BJD). I’m certainly not going to tout it as a full proof cure, but may be worth a shot. I used Kent Marine Lugols and followed the dipping instructions.

You certainly can frag it. It will just be very difficult without a wet saw. Hack saw in a pinch and dip with Lugol's or some medicoral after.

Agreed, an Iodine dip for sure. I wouldn't frag it, Could possibly stress the torch out even further at this point.... Low flow, and a dip asap.....

I had 2 Aussie gold go on me last year. Tried dipping both in iodine, as well as cutting off the dying head. They both died, and the head I cut rapidly died within 24 hours...

I truly hope yours pulls through :(
