we don't feed coral food. THe only thing we dose is phytoplankton- we do this because we want our pod population to stay optimal.

@SBB Corals how often do you dose phytoplankton? Also, do you turn skimmers off or take out any mechanical filtration?

We dose it every 3 days and we don't turn anything off and sometimes we do it during daylight and sometimes night I don't think it matters

Great video. I run the same KISS principal less the skimmer, just rocks and socks. If my ph didn't stay where I wanted it or if nutrients were high I would add the one that's been in my closet for a year and a half. People always trip out when they find out I don't have any reactors for anything. To me, and to each their own, I see at as an extra fail spot. Many awesome tanks out there run more complicated systems..but its possible without it.
