I could be way off here but plopping live rock into your tank without giving it at least a couple days in a separate curing container can be bad. There's a good possibility of some die off and in a nano that can cause a spike.
I’ve always just plopped. And since I really don’t have the luxury of putting in a curing station I’ll just keep a close eye and go from there. Prepared for water changes. Managed to salvage some SBB water as well.

Same. I don't have the luxury of curing. I temp acclimate and then dip and plopped. I didn't dip my SBB this time. Let see how they like it once my hubby puts up my Quanta bars this week

As long as you have decent bacteria in there to help handle the spike from die-off. Water changes like you said. Another good option might be some MB7. I think there's one that's called MB7 Razor or something that's supposed to help with some of that?

Looks like the red dragon is a goner too. Bumblebee, sun god Millie, 5 Tenuis, carebears and 4 other Gonis, 5 mushrooms, cotton candy torch are all doing really good.

Honestly I think they just had a stressful shipping journey this time for some reason. Maybe it was a little hot outside. Normally I see some PE and pieces look good right when they go in, but I didn’t see any this time, though they didn’t look terrible either.

I’m in the same boat. I woke up this morning and all 4 of my new acros look like this. I’m not sure what went wrong. My hammers and torches are fine though.

that’s a bummer. When did your order come in? Yeah I lost 2 but I think the rest of the acros are doing great now and torches, mushrooms and Gonis had no problems at all.

Sorry to hear that. happened to me before where it perfectly fine one day, and a complete ghost the next morning

Asking this because I’m a newbie. So the die off causes a spike in ammonia I would assume. Is the ammonia spike a problem for a coral only tank or just the subsequent spike in nitrates etc.?

So what's the damage for everyone?

So far, I've lost:
SBB " Red Hulk" Monti
SBB " Creature Milli"
SBB " Dragon Stone" Small (I think, hard to tell, but I don't see any polyps)

On the plus side, these SPS look happy:
SBB Mystery Signature Tenuis
MattV " Red Dana"
SBB " Bling Bling" New Release
I'm 30/30 everything looking bright, opened and happy

In fact I had a couple branches break on some of my big speciosa colonies so I glued them to new frag plugs and they look great this morning. Gonna give em away or sell them cheap locally once healed

Glad to hear the rest are doing well! My order came in on Tuesday. Everything else is doing great. These torches are AMAZING, they fluff up a lot more than the other ones I got from my lfs.
