Dude I have the same Ocean Revive light on my 30gal the colors are awesome for the price! One downside Ive noticed though is that the internal timer on the light that you set to turn it on and off is pretty terrible. Its been on my tank about six months and the timer NEVER works anymore. Great looking tank so far. About to set up one of these SCA 50's myself. Only thing from keeping me from pulling the trigger is figuring out how to hardplumb it. Yours looks great! Do you know about how many gallons the sump is?

Thank you, I haven’t had any problems with the timer on my light. You do not have to hard plumb it, the pnp kit comes with everything to plumb it using soft tube, my total system volume is right at 58 gal.

Thought I would add a FTS with all the new corals in place and frag rack removed.

Really nice set up, everything looks great. I was thinking about getting the SCA 50 myself, but decided to go with a 40 gal. breeder instead because of the aquascape possibilities. I recently added a diamond goby to my current nano tank and it has quickly became my favorite fish. So much fun to watch and such a hard working fish. Watching your build thread made me want to jump into my 40b build even more...lol. Thanks for posting.

Looks great ! I’m so jelious of the lack of algae in your tank !
I contribute that to the use of the Red Sea Reef mature pro kit. I do a weekly waterchange of either 4 or 8 gallons depending on N & P levels.

I love my goby, although she can be a pain from time to time covering my acans with sand. She truly does work all day everyday cleaning the sand. I haven’t touched it since the day she went in. Thank you for taking the time to look at my thread, do you have a build thread? I would love to check it out.

No build thread yet. But will be posting one when I set up my 40 gal. I have the 40 breeder and 20 long to use as a sump. Looking at different stand DIYs now. My goby needs a bigger home fast.

Time for an update, everything is doing really well growing and all happy, the fish are fat and happy just the way I like them. Added a few more corals to the tank.

Scored a big time coral haul of 3 5 gallon buckets full of sps, lps and softies for the incredible price of a 10 min drive. A local reffer is moving and tore down his tank and needed to get rid of the coral quick as the buckets had no heaters or circulation pumps. The buckets were fairly cold we I got them home so I wasted no time getting them in a spare 20 long I had laying around and getting a small heater in there to slowly bring them up to temperature. After a few days to see what is going to survive I will go through them and pick some corals I like and then offer the rest to local reffer a for the same price I paid for them. In one of the buckets was also a Zebra Barred Dartfish that I am now running through quarantine. Although this is not a fish on my original stocking plan my Daughter and I both fell in love with the little girl that my Daughter now affectionately calls Snips because of the way she eats. So in to the tank she will go after her full quarantine.

Great build thread! I almost got the SCA 50 pnp on Black Friday, but trying to hold out for the 150... that's a great looking tank. Also a nice score on the new corals! That red cap is gorgeous :)

Thank you for taking a look, I love my 50 cube, but now I need a bigger tank, thinking about adding a SCA 120 or 150. I love the red cap but don’t have room for the colony so I will be giving that one away but will keep one of the smaller chunks that I received.

Congrats on the haul! I'm sure the person tearing down the tank was happy to have them all go to a good home. That dartfish looks like a great unexpected fish too. I bet he is going to color up once he settles in too.
