Stone fish are pretty creepy too.
Hagfish might be cool. I don't know how large they get or if they are even obtainable.

Hmm a stargazer would definitely meet the requirements. So far that's the creepiest one so far.

Definitely a creepy fish. I used to get them in my crab traps all the time.
supposedly they can give an electric shock, any truth to that first hand?

or you could get the blob fish but it would be very hard getting that and putting it in an aquarium
In going for creepy not make me barf haha. Blob fish look like a tab slimer lol. If only they had people teeth
Octopus. Hmm. Might kill my malamute. He likes to stare at the tanks. Lol. Plus I don't want to have to vacuum seal the tank haha
Pufferfish fit the bill mentally. Just not physically. They are mean and goodness Lordy do I not want bit again. However they remind me of pumba
