Scoly’s with bite marks?

So I noticed a couple of my scoly’s with small white patches (maybe innards?) dotted all over the flesh. I have no fish or hermits in this tank and wondering if it’s bacterial or something else? Don’t see this with the lights on. Any help appreciated.

When I first dipped a couple of my scolys, these white tiny clumps of spaghetti looking stuff came through the flesh around the entire coral. Once acclimated and happy; they disappeared back into it. It seemed like it was expelling it’s own insides if that makes sense.
seemed to happen when they were really ticked off. What are your parameters like? Lighting and flow level?

Here’s a few more detail shots. These are not present during the day, only when lights are off. These have been in the tank for over a year before seeing this. i also noticed this on my bowerbankii yesterday. I did a coral dip as a precaution now until I can figure this out. I have these in my sump under

radion xr15 G4’s (20%).
Alk - 8.6
Calcium - 486
Mag - 1336
Temp: 78.5
pH - 8.2.8.37
Flow is moderate and goes over the top.

Do you have a very low flow area of your tank you can place them? Do they have their feeders out at night? Can’t imagine they do if they are doing that.. try extremely low flow for them to puff up to their fullest during the day and see if it helps

Sure I can do that. I’m starting to wonder whether not putting any direct feeding into the sump (besides target feeding a couple times a week) was causing some critters to scrounge on the flesh and irritating them.

Mesenterial filaments. the coral is definitely not happy or is trying to fight another coral (but this doesnt seem to be the case).

Either poriferan sponge or filaments. They will have to be careful picked off with a tweezers which will be a challenge but do-able

No real changes in parameters I can see from my APEX history or PO2, NO3 log. What I did do today is drop a cube of mysis in the sump and I didn’t see any filaments tonight. I may try to keep feeding the sump and see if the scavenger critters are causing the irritations. Ever since I removed the last fish I hadn’t been sourcing food in there for the past month.
