Scoly propagation

Trying another in tank propagation of a bleeding apple scoly here in the lab at Koral King. Technique is to shave the underside of the skeleton very close to the flesh without cutting into it and letting the scoly push a baby out the other side. Seen this a few times so figured we’d give it a shot. First cut made about a month ago but was not thin enough, so the second cut was made on 19th Nov, and these are the pictures.

The scoly needs to be glued on its side like the picture above in order to get some indirect lighting and flow on the newly exposed skeleton. Will be posting updates. Fingers crossed!

I bought one of the pie slices a couple months ago.... mostly for science. But, it's doing really well. I'm surprised.
