Any updates, Scott? When are they getting wet?

I have the magnets on order to recess them into the doors. Now that winter has hit here though I'm waiting for a day where the temp goes above 60 so I can finishing painting.

Final delay will be that I'm going to put down some new flooring prior to filling it. Also still have to design the sump.

Got the final Kessil A360WE light and this one came with the arm I want for the other two. Love the simple use of these lights. Just waiting for the other two arms to be put up on the for sale section at a good price.

Looking great so far! Can't wait to see some more of this. I want an SCA 150. I'll probably go with their plug and play system. I'm not near that good with building stands. That one is going to be beautiful...

Thanks, If their stands are as good as their tanks the stand will be nice.

Alright you guys so I have redone the design of the sump again. I went from 12" high to 15" to allow for some more water in the ATO and to allow for more water when the pumps are off. LMK what you think or if there is anything I am missing. I am not going to do filter socks and instead opt for rubble rock in the intake to settle the air bubbles before the skimmer section.

Been a little while but got something for the tank while I wait for the weather to warm up.

A Triton 44 sump from Trigger Systems.

I decided against the custom sump because of the price from the plastic shops around here they wanted $1200-$1500 to build it!

Looked at some of the Trigger System sumps and found this one. It is one of thier blemished models which was discounted at a good deal. Nothing structural wrong with it just cosmetic but good luck finding g the blemish.

Hers is a shot with the sump, skimmer, and ATO container.

Also I made the two front doors one so it looks like two but is removed as one.

I'm also in the process of attaching the magnets to the door. I've recessed them into the door and will cover it with wood filler later before paint. This way the magnets will be hidden and will hold the doors to the stand.

Pretty stoked on this it's coming together nicely.

Any updates? Love the stand, I'm in the process of setting up the same tank. Slow and steady wins the race!

Got the magnets in place and have filled all the nail holes and sanded the stand smooth. Also I used some white caulking to seal the inside of the stand. Once the rain stops and the temps are good I plan on priming the stand then rolling appliance paint on the inside before doing the final coats of white paint on the outside.

I've got myself that same sump. It's absolutely beautiful. So far I'm exceptionally happy with it.
