SDReef's 330G Acropora Dominant Mixed Reef

March 2026 FTS

I made some adjustments to the placement of some of the corals and added a new structure to the back of the system with some height. The rock needs some time to mature and is pretty white compared to rest of the scape.

Ari's Avalanche, had this frag for a bit. I had neglected the tank for a while and the frag had suffered. It has recovered nicely, tissues appear healthy now with improved polyp extension, and demonstrating some growth.

A beautiful tank! Very nice photos, enjoyed looking. How long did you keep the yellow tang in the 60g cube? Any problem with that?

Couple recent additions, in captivity less than a year and adjusting well to the system.

I love the indo!

Looking great!

Thanks! System is doing well. I did a bit of a reset with frags, and overall things are doing well. I'm due for some new photos.

Is your tank set back up?

Thank you. I don't recall exactly, but I want to say from 2016/2017 until 2020, and no issues. The yellow tang was healthy, and stopped its growth until it was placed in the larger system at which point it outpaced every other tang's growth rate.

I love the indo!

Thank you!

Exceptional photos

Somehow only now stumbling across this thread for the first time. Amazing tank!

Have you had any issues with the foxface picking at any corals?

Gorgeous photos!
That Goldflake Angel is amazing!

Thanks, he's captive bred, came in really tiny. My female clownfish would chase him to the opposite corner of the tank and would have killed him, except she got placed in a separate system for a long time, and he grew quickly. Has remained good with all of the sps, euphyllia.

Thanks, I added the fox face within the past year to help with bubble algae. I still have bubble algae and don't see him actively eating it. No issues with any corals that I've observed.

I don't have any meaty LPS any more, but no issues with the euphyllia, zoanthids, micromussa, chalice, mushrooms, or sps.
