What do you guys think of the seachem ammonia alert? I'm going to keep it in my tank while cycling so I can measure the progress. One question though. Could I keep it in the sump so I don't see it?

I used it in my QT tank and it worked well. You could put it in the sump but I would suggest you put it in the display so you can see it easily.

I use these on my qt tank. They are a good early indicator as you can give them a quick glance but they can’t really replace a decent test kit to keep a close eye on things especially while cycling.
