seahorse tank

Today i got a little crazy and i decided i want to make the 25 gallon tank in my room a sea horse tank. I know that they are slow graving animals and dont perfer to much current. Im just not sure what equipment to use and/ or need. If anybody has used one of these please let me know. Thanks.

hey oceanslayer have u decided which seahorses you are going to go with? also, they might be adding a section just for seahorse here soon and you might want to repost it there when/if they make that section

No not yet but I plan on buying hi end ones that are aqua cultured because they have a better chance of survival

You should consider H. Erectus Seahorses. They are a very hardy species and their fry are much easier to rear than others (if you're going down that route). Others such as Reidi and Kuda are nice species as well. Their fry are difficult to rear, but keeping the adults isn't much more difficult than keeping Erectus.

I would recommend Seahorsesource for buying captive bred.
