Hello. I just got back from a reefing event and bought two frags from a dealer. Upon getting them home and acclamating to temp in the tank, there are very obvious aiptasia on both frags. The frags are $20 / piece so these weren't crazy purchases. I have fought the good fight against aiptasia in the past and really, really do not want to go through it again.

Seeking advice from people here. Is something I can treat the frags with a commercial product to avoid it getting into my display. Or is this just a matter of cut my losses at $40 to avoid the hassle.

By chance are they on the actual frag plug that you could remove altogether?

Berghia are the best. I swear by them. Got mine from Reeftown. Only need 3-4 to start a breeding colony

For the rocks you can super glue over them or cover in kalk paste.

Peppermint Shrimp for sure. However, some will flip small snails for a meal. I have one that would and one that would not. My snails are almost gulf ball size. I feed all my crabs and shrimps one nugget of sinking fish food each per day. I have attached a photo so that you can buy the right one. peppermint shrimp.PNG
