@Randy Holmes-Farley any opinions about Selenium Glycinate? And how to dose if you recommend this?

I think I’ve been overdosing my tank with selenium.

Reef moonshiners icp-ms calculations had me dose .1ml per day. The past 6 nights, I’ve been dosing 1.0ml!

Should I be worried in a 152gl total volume including sump?

Next ICP-ms test will be next week Saturday.

Probably above your target, but well below any concerning level.
BTW what is the dose in ppb/day that you were trying to do?

Sorry, I don’t know the concentration of their product, what chemical form they use, or how they recommended a dose, but I would not worry too much. Selenium is not especially toxic in any of the common forms.

Thanks guys.
My icp came back low, at .121 but if I remember correctly, the moonshiner’s calculations were on target and I needed to dose .1 daily.

Everything in the tank seems happy so I’ll just stop dosing till next week.

In organic way for selenium, i'm using Fauna Marin Vitality, cheap and useful in someway.
