Sfin's Dream.

Make sure if you start snowing frequently you verify that your alkalinity doesn't dip. It can cause a slight drop.

I've done it twice, a week apart but I may need to pause. I thought I was dealing with green cyano but looks like might be dinos. I have a microscope coming tonight to verify.
I liked the snow but it did seem to take a long time for my skimmer to clear, even looked like some residual left on the rocks.

Do you think there is some cause of dynos from snow? other than the possibility of phosphate removal? Or some other reason I am not seeing for pause the use?

I typically have a little on the rock work where the flow is lighter or when I mix mb7 and vitamins/aminos into it. I think the mix causes it to be a bit more "sticky". Either way that seems to be either covered with coralline or rubbed off in a couple days.

No, it's not from the snow, I think it's been dinos the whole time.
The snow works fine and I'm planning on continuing to use it once I get this resolved. I may just tweak the mix or adjust my flow or something but it works well and I like it.
