The tests show that my tank has about No3 at 25ppm and Po4 at 0.75ppm. The levels used to be much higher with Po4 at 3~2ppm and No3 at over 100ppm in the past but I managed to gradually bring them down to the level it is currently at. Since then, it hasn't gone down any further and it's been at around the current level over several months and doesn't seem to change much from here.
The tank is doing fine, and there don't seem to be any noticeable issues (actually, there weren't any issues when Po4 was at 3ppm and No3 was at over 100ppm either), so I don't need to fix anything.
But while I'm okay with the nitrate at 25ppm, the Po4 not going any lower annoys me for some reason. Should I just leave it or give GFO a try? I know I shouldn't try to fix things if they ain't broken but a part of me wants to punch that phosphate in the face.
The tank has no fish, mainly shrimps, one porite coral (for the Christmas tree worms, I don't really care for the coral) and some other inverts.
