I currenty have 4 vho bulbs on my new 75g aquarium. I like t-5's (thats what I have on my smaller tank) and I have never tried metal halides. Someone is offering to sell me this light setup...
http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewI...duct~CU01064~idCategory~FILTFIMHMMMDMLM6.html ... for about $350. I don't plan to keep any really hard to maintain corals, but I do want to keep zoas, shrooms, leathers, gsp, polyps, cap coral, cauliflower, hammers, candy coral, ricordia, frogspawn, and maybe clams. Is this type of light too much for what I want. Would the vho's that I already have support and let these corals do well? Is there some way I could just add to the lighting I already have somehow? Thanks.

for what you want to keep you do not need to upgrade lighting unless you want to keep that clam....everything else should be fine.

i would go for it, they are only 150 halides and you will really be happy with the way it looks over just VHO
