Just got mine back, I didn't build it. But maybe will give DIY'ers some ideas.

Has access on both sides of tank, center portion pops off. And the front left is for a co2 bottle, front right is electronics (power strips, power head controllers, aquariums controller, etc) all separated from the sump in case of accidental water spray.

Here's my stand. It's made out of 2x4's for main structure. I put ceramic tile on top of it and metal doors that have cross brakes in them for support. All the metal panels come off for ease to get into the stand.

My stand was made by nd aquatics but my husband made the panels and cupboard the panels come off completely and hold on to stand via strong magnets i love the idea of the magnets cos I don't have doors getting in the way

I built a small stand for my 65g office tank. The tank is 32x24. The stand is 36x26. I used alder 1x to skin the 2x4 frame. If I were to do it again I wouldn't have used 2x4 for the frame. I would have used 1x instead. Too heavy and I lost a few inches of room. The doors pop on and off instead of using hinges.

Holy cow. You going to be able to move it when you're done. My stand is small but weighs a ton with 2x4.

Ya i am in the army so i have to be able to move it often. I built it into 4 separate pieces that will be lag bolted together to keep it rigid, but easy to move or transport [emoji12]
