Wow^^^ so clean.

Heres mine, not advised mounting this way, I do however have acrylic here to make a splash cover, just need to cut, sand and glue it all up. Lacking compared to above....but works for me lol

Thank you [emoji4] that was one requirement I had for my husband when doing our tank build, clean & simple hahaha. Good idea on the acrylic cover, please post pics when you finish! I am sure it will look great!

In my opinion, this is the best setup yet, i will most definitely try to figure a way to do this on my system, it would hide the remaining wires nicely

Also a work in progress, but my husband @wmhaupfear and I wanted a “clean & simple” look to our 150 gal. The side partition houses the Apex, EB832, WXM, and FMM and is not a removable wall. We used desk grommets for wire management and all wires feed into each module from below it for safety. The front cabinet holds the DOS, a future DOS, dosing container, and an iPad. This is actually a drawer that pulls out fully so we can refill the dosing container and access the electronics. The drawer still needs a finishing touch using a door sweep to close the gap you see and some lights behind it.

A lot of great ideas here. My 90 gallon is on the other side of my refrigerator so I simply cut out the drywall behind the fridge to plumb the tank and mounted all electrical above the tank. When i need to access my gear i just roll out the fridge.

My 40 breeder i just set up was a bit more of a challenge. I wanted the largest sump possible while eliminating any remote possibility of water or humidity getting to the electrical. I created a 6” wide chamber right of my 29 gallon sump with a plywood “drip edge” and all holes/seams caulked. A pvc elbow serves as a port to feed wires and a piece of shower liner drops to allow access to my eb8, pm1, BOB and dj8. Another screw drops the lower shelf and allows me to remove the dj8 power strip for even easier access to the two gfci outlets i have hardwired under the tank. I think a hurricane could rip through my house and that little spot would stay dry.

I've noticed alot of the setups here have 1 or more regular power bars included. What type of units would you plug into them and what's the reasoning behind it? Do you then plug the powerbar into one of the controlled outlets on the EB8 to control the bar as a single unit? I'm just laying mine out and would like some advice from those that have already done it.
