I've had good luck with low light/flow, not moving them around and not over feeding. I always inspect them very closely before purchase.Better yet how do you keep these guys alive :(
mine just bleach on me , may be i am running too much light on them , what are you parameters? and what lights do you have them under?I've had good luck with low light/flow, not moving them around and not over feeding. I always inspect them very closely before purchase.
SG 1.026 pH 8.3 Alk 8 Temp 78-79 0 Amm/Nitrite/Phos Nitrate 5 I run a single kessil a160we over the tank. Scoly sits on the sandbed roughly 16 inches under the kessil. I run dusk/dawn settings via apex so the kessil runs at 100% for 6 hours or so.mine just bleach on me , may be i am running too much light on them , what are you parameters? and what lights do you have them under?
There are way more reports of failure than success with this particular coral unfortunately.mine just bleach on me , may be i am running too much light on them , what are you parameters? and what lights do you have them under?

Doh!Yeah so far I have not been very lucky... Well I got my scolly as a rescue, then it started recovering , after it recovered completely , i moved the tanks and it bleached and started receding on me .
Yeah right. I had a button scoly that was doing well for few weeks then...downhill fast. I still have the skeleton sitting on the sand hoping the Scoly Gods will resurrect it from the dead. :DBetter yet how do you keep these guys alive :(
