I know a lot about RFAs, but they seem to be on the wane now as current RFAs come from areas outside the Caribbean and way too frequently they don't live in aquariums very long.

I'm having fun right now with a line of Black Widow Bubble Tip anemones. I started with one just 2 years ago. Since then I've had 11 new births (splits). I sold 4 a while back and still have 8 in my tank. I may just let them keep going and make it a Black Widow tank!

I've got a black widow system with 30 or so in the colony.

What parameters do you guys have that your flowers thrive so much? I got 2 too early in my tank and lost them both. Now 9 months in my parameters are stable so I am thinking of trying again.

On Tuesday or Wednesday (when we go diving for flowers and riccordia), I will make a video of our new catch and post it.

Is a “Bullet Hole” Rock Flower the result of detaching the foot & mouth when harvesting the animal?

I believe it's when they rip the center of the foot and mouth when collecting them. Rock flowers are very delicate when it comes to collection. They are super hearty if properly collected and handled. It is such a delicate process to remove a flower from its rock in the ocean. I sell a lot of flowers, and a lot of you have my flowers in your tank. I have not had anyone tell me a flower died.

Any particular reason you are asking? If you need help healing them, let me know. There are things we can do to help them but its a 50/50. Like an iodine dip.
