How old is your tomini? I'm interested in one of these fish, curious how fast they get to this size.

I've had it about a year. It was about 3inches when I got it.
Fairly active swimmer but very peaceful.

Here are my tangs. I have bold strong muscular naso with huge streamer (king of the tank) eibili tang, scopas like a peepal tree leaf and ultimate eater powder blue tang.

Even though it’s still a hefty tag I won’t lie, that is a great deal for this species!
I think last time I saw one for sale it was around 5k or something ridiculous.

Ya, they have come down in price thankfully. I wouldn’t have spent 5k on a fish either. Hopefully, the price keeps dropping so they become a little more popular.

Hopefully, this is one of the tangs Id love to own but for now I guess the Convict is an option.

Honestly the convict tang is a great choice. Easier to come by and it’s not going to upset you as much if you lose a convict compared to a zebra tang.
