Sick clownfish

Today I noticed my smaller of two clowns was looking very lethargic but doesn't appear to have any visible damage/diseases. I'm not sure what I can do for him, he seemed to be struggling with the flow so I moved him to a makeshift acclimation box. About 1 week ago I lost a newly introduced Tomini tang, the tang was dipped at my house and supposedly QT'd by the store. He came fairly beat up did fine for about a week and then suddenly passed. He showed no signs of external parasites and I freshwater dipped the body with no results ). Attached a few pictures, any suggestions welcome. I was starting to suspect some potentially internal parasite as the fish was looking fairly skinny the last few days so ordered some Prazi pro that will arrive tomorrow as well as some metroplex and focus. My other fish seem pretty much as active as usual and none are flashing. My other clown has been staying near the top of the tank which is new but not gasping for air or exhibiting other signs of distress (fins full out, eating normally )

He is in a mixed reef 55 gallon system with

1 Other Ocellaris clown ( larger of the pair)
1 McCorkskills flasher Wrasse
1 Mandarine Goby
1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 5-10 ( hard to tell on api test )
Salinity 1.025

Phosphate 0 (api test so I'm sure it's between 0 - 1 )

Is that a white-ish sheen to the clowns face to the gill area, or is that something from the photo?

he’s definitely paler than usual but I think the sheen is from the photo

When I've got fish that are dying for no clear reason and without symptoms, I usually treat with Furan2.

I sadly lost him overnight, I took a few more photos, his stomach seemed pulled up and he has a few marks on his face (arrows in the photo). I saw him eating yesterday and I have never observed him not getting enough. I think though I can't swear that he always had some minor discolouration on his face, they look more pronounced in the close-up photo than viewing with the eye, in person they almost look like a crack in paint.

All the other fish continue to look very healthy and are eating normally, so I'm conflicted on dosing the tank without identifying anything specific. But having lost 2 fish in a week without much warning it seems likely they were related.

Regarding the Furan2, do you recommend dosing the display tank or pulling the fish out to treat them? Is the theory with this there is some kind of bacteria in the tank infecting the fish?

I have some Kanaplex which reading seems similar but not the same as furan2, would you recommend using this or getting furan2 or both?

Any opinions on dosing the prazipro/metroplex? My plan prior to posting had been to dose the prazi and remove 24 hours later with carbon/water change ( I had read wrasses are sensitive to prazi ) and then using focus to feed some metroplex infused food in case there was some sort of internal parasite at work.

Mine started showing similar symptoms so I started with paragard and so far so good day 4 now and they look much better I was leaning more towards clownfish disease. Going to be doing paragard for 2 weeks than prazi for a week before I put them back in DT. just as a precaution took my Kole Tang out and doing same thing now just trying to trap my wrasse which hasnt been much fun :(

Mixing Furan2 + Kanaplex + Metro = The Trifecta which treats a very broad range of both gram positive and gram negative bacterial infections. Both internal and external.

Treating with General Cure gives your fish a dose of both metro and prazi. Plus, since it is a powder, it doesn't have the oxybispropanol that PraziPro uses to keep the praziquantel in solution in the bottle. The oxybis absorbs oxygen from the water column and can cause breathing issues, especially for sensitive fish.
Treatment: Dose, wait 5-7 days, then do a 25% water change. Re-dose, wait 5-7 days, then do a 25% water change. Observe for 10-14 days.
