Just picked this little guy up Thursday and he has been in QT sence. Tank is currently being treated with copper. The LFS I purchased him from also treated with copper. He is not eating but did and has been doing this all day. What can I do if anything? My Hippo tang and clown purchased same day are doing fine.

Stop treating the Angel with copper, some Angels will not tolerate it, the fish stops eating.

Angels can be really hard to acclimate. Give it some hiding spots, turn off the lights.

You'll have to re-house the Angel .

It looks like he had some larger white spots on him (possible bacterial infection), but I cannot tell for sure whether or not that might just be smudges on the glass.

In any case, I am sorry for your loss. :(

Yea it was the glass. No spots and was doing great until today. Any recommendations for the next round of fish. This is the first time doing a QT. Never had an issue till an ich outbreak on the old tank and the old house last year that killed 80% of the fish

As @Tahoe61 pointed out, treating angels with copper is not always the best idea. If you wish to try it again, I would raise the Cu level very slowly (4-5 days) and use a chelated copper product such as Coppersafe.

However, if you're looking for something tried & true; which utilizes NO CHEMICALS to prophylactically treat for ich, check out TTM: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/tank-transfer-method.192655/

I use a lot of different medications to treat sick fish because it is necessary to cure them. But for my own personal collection, I use TTM every time (unless the fish shows symptoms of a disease other than ich.)

Yes you can but there are some risks. I've done it with little issue and no losses.
"Prazipro is generally considered reef safe, although it may kill any tube worms/feathers dusters you have. It may also eradicate bristle worms. If you have mass quantities of these, the resulting die-off can lead to an ammonia spike. After treatment is done, activated carbon may be used to remove any residuals (if you need to use a different medication next). If using a protein skimmer post-treatment, be advised that it will “over skim” for at least a couple of weeks."

For what it's worth I've used it with Hawaiian feather dusters, coco worms, and "duster clusters" without any issue.

Just lost my blue tang in my QT. Will only do tank transfers now. $100 worth of fish in a week. All I have left is my clown.
