I noticed today that my Yellow Tang has some red (bloodshot) looking outlines and patches.

Anyone seen this before?

Recommendation?

Red-ish areas and marks like that should be viewed with great suspicion. Best treatment is with NFG powder in a QT. Next best option is the "trifecta" of Furan2 + Kanaplex + Metro also in a QT. Below are more info on bacterial infections and treatments with some in baths.

I did just have a bacterial bloom.
I have no QT at the moment. Any ideas of how to treat without a QT?
Some of the antibiotics in the thread above are done in a 60-90 minute bath instead of a QT.

My tank is highly stocked with coral. I have tried to catch this tang without breaking it damaging coral and I am not having luck.

looks like I will just have to keep and eye on it and keep him fed well.

Try catching your tang at night after the lights in the room and tank have been off for a couple of hours. Using a small flashlight, find the tang and shine the light into its eyes. The light will mesmerize the fish making netting much easier.
