Silver belly vs yellow coris wrasse

I need some opinions.
Should we get a Silver Belly Wrasse or Yellow Coris Wrasse? Other suggestions? Looking for a wrasse to help with pest control (not a big problem now, just fire insc) and a wrasse that won't get crazy big or aggressive with my smaller fish.
We currently have:
3 fire fish
1 med bangai cardinal
1 med blue/green chromis
1 clown
1 med watchman goby
1 no spot foxface about 4"
1 small royal gramma
1 baby tomini tang
1 small square tail bristle tang
Various soft corals & rockflowers.

We have a 63 gallon tank with serious plans to be in a 170-200 +sump in the next 12 months.

I’d personally go Silver belly as it’s the unusual sister species and well, people want the Chrysus because it’s just a block of yellow.
However the only difference is the colour, both are same in aggression, size and what pests they hunt. So over all do you want a wrasse that in 2-3 years (assuming you get a young female or a juvenile) will look like this as it matures and transitions to a male;
(H. chrysus- Yellow ‘Coris’ Wrasse)

(H. leucoxanthus - Silver Belly Wrasse)

Both r good but I'll go with silver belly too. I hv kept both together and they were best mates. Everyone thought that they were of same species. They both were very active and didn't bother anything. They both came out together and comes on hunt at night together. But beware, I think both can jump out of the tank.

Thank you for the adult coloration comparison. Personally I like and just added 2 of the silver belly.

Mine went through QT and now settling into DT. They're still a bit confused and seem to suffer from burrowing injury with my reef grade sand vs finer sand while in QT, but I'm sure they'll recover. At least they're out and no aggression from the other 30+ fish including other wrasses. My last QT'ed one went into the sand and never came out. This time I introduced these into an acclimation box for a day before releasing. That seemed to help. Tip for others when introducing sand sleepers into an active tank.

I have 2 since I saw other reefers with 2, but at the same time have read 2 may fight over time. Hopefully they'll figure it out since they were QTed and introduced together granted one is a bit larger.

Love mine, hunts all day. Very peaceful with other fish. Has gotten a taste for hermit crabs though

I think I will get two H. leucoxanthus today from Petco. Both juveniles/females. I have been looking for them for a while. This pair have been at the LFS for the last 2 weeks, eating well and fat.

Nice! I've gotten plenty of petco "gems" in the past. However QT is a must for anything from there as you already know. Restating for others that may not know. =)

Another interesting bit is they will special order fish for you. Just ask them to see the order sheet and let them know you intend to pick up the same day they arrive. ... in the original bags so those fish never hit the store's water.
