Skimmer overkill

Hey guy am building a 40b gal with a 20 gal sump and am locking for skimmers and found a used Reef Octopus Extreme 160. Well I know it's way over kill for my tank but I can get it for a good deal. Do you think that to big or will you go with it? Thanks for any input!

I was running the 160 on my 40gal last year and it worked out fine. I did upgrade when upgrading tanks, but that should work fine for you.
