Great...here we go again...more hurricanes this year than in recorded history..more small craft daily warnings this year in recorded history...I am so over 2020. And this one doubled in size since last night...not a good sign.

Well, my idea of having a sunset wedding on a sandbar off Siesta Key on the 31rst is looking like it may be off of the table. I know... first world problems.... glad I don't live in Puerto Rico or Haiti. Those poor folks have spent so much time without power due to these storms. They are resilient folks! Safe diving out there. Are you up in Tampa Bay?

Curious @liverock.....

Do the hurricanes disrupt your "rock gardens"(for lack of a better term) out in the sea at all? Like the force of the waves and tide swell blow your rock all over the place?

Definitely some weird weather this year for sure. Even up here in the northeast we had an usually dry hot summer.

Actually......in 40 years of doing this have never had the rock on bottom messed with by storms...storms make the Gulf turn into ZERO visibility....you simply cannot see to work underwater!

15 -20 knot winds.....are terrible for us.....as the gulf turns to milk....and takes at least of week of tide changes for it to start to clear up.....but when you have these conditions almost every day....never clears up..
