I got this tank for Christmas off of Craigslist, came with the live rock, the stand, canopy, an ecosystem aquarium refugium sump, and a JALLI A18 power compact light fixture...so far all I've done is put the live rock in, I've never aquascaped before, so I wanted some opinions on how well I did :)

Looking good so far!

Be real careful since there is no sand in the bottom of the tank and if that rock falls it may crack the tank!

Thanks :) I've been thinking about that, took all the rock back out today, the rock was surprisingly sturdy, but I definitely wanna try to find some glue or something to safely keep the rock from falling, last thing I want is a cracked tank or anything squished when it's stocked..definitely not something I feel comfortable with chancing...I hope it'll look good when it's finished :)

So I've been having problems getting my plumbing to not leak, the connection between the drain bulkhead leaks 5-10 drips a minute, the bulkhead has a steady stream of a leak on the return line (I had the return hose clamped when I tested it but since have bought a new pump with all new plumbing and I forgot new hose clamps)

here's how the drain hose enters my sump, sorry it's not as clean as it should be, it had salt creep way worse on it when I got it..

this bulkhead I'm gonna change out completely, it leaks as well, very slow leak but it's there..and not only that but my new pump (elemental solutions 1110 gph set up external) has a 1" intake instead of the 3/4" I had before...I changed pumps because I wanted something more durable looking than the maxi-jet 1200 I was gonna use for a return pump lol
