Small crustaceans ... Fighting. Isopods? Good or bad?

Noticed these today...



Good or bad Isopods?

The coral looked like it was coming off the frag which is what made me look close but upon close inspection the coral is attaching to the live rock I put the frag piece inside of. Not sure if this is normal or if it's being "chased" or "eaten" off the frag piece?

I did dip them in what the LFS had for coral dip. Forget the name off hand.

I would suspect they are regular ole munid isopods.

Hope so - they're pretty entertaining to watch fight each other.

If often starts with a guy....

And a girl...

the one male would be guarding the female, waiting for her to molt, so he can be her Baby-Daddy.

Then another male would circle the grounds and a fight would break out...

Sometimes the loser limped away with a broken leg or two....

That's how West Side Story went down in my tank....

Hahahahahah yeah that looks a lot like what I have been watching going on. They're big enough for me to see the general movements but my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be and I just turned 30 ::scratches head::

I think I need to go to the eye doc.
