so is it, how small when they are all grown up, or how small?
when purchased:
(2) 1/2" ocellaris clowns
(1) 1" Fox Face Lo
(5) 1/2" blue green chromis
(3) 1/2" swallowtail damsels
(1) 1 1/4" Lamark Angel
(1) 1 1/4" Copperband
(4) 3/4"-1" lyretail anthias
(1) 3/4" orchid dotty back
(1) 1/2" six line wrasse
(1) 1 1/4" black leopard wrasse
I like to watch them grow up.

Pair of Flaming Prawn gobies, the female was smaller. Then probably my yellow neon gobies, a green banded, and then a bit chunkier than the neons, white spot dwarf/trimma goby.

I love gobies! They may be small but they can be very colorful and full of personality.

I had a pair of blue neon gobies. Did not have overflow or sump . Cool looking little fish. Would not keep fish that small in current tank with overflow. I don’t know why fish are attracted to overflows but they are and if small enough they take the plunge. Kind of like a fishy water slide!

That’s awesome! Were you able to raise the offspring?
I never tried. But they laid between January and August every week or so. Then would stop for that few months and begin again. Loved these guys. Had them about 5 years until female got egg bound somehow and male went nuts without her.

I love my neon goby. It is also in my 6g and is alway out around and happy. It is tiny, and the kids I bring the tank to absolutely love it. They call it Dory, so guess that works.
It is super fat too. Big old belly. Eats anything.
