Smooth Skin/ "Deep Water" Acropora - Show 'em off here!

Man has this piece gone through its ups and downs. I'm not even sure its a smooth skin really. Just recently it started to get some blue back in the branches, it's been green and dormant since 2019

I've recently gone back to metal halide/xho so I look forward to what it will do in the future. 2019 and this things in it's 3rd tank, by the end of this year the 4th (and final...hahahah). How's everyone smoothies doing AND whats the nicest one out right now?

Will do! I’m just glad it’s still alive. It was on a slow decline for so long I had kinda given up on it.

Looks like a “dragon” type. Like purple dragon eyes ect. Not sure on the actual sp. name.

I'm pretty obsessed with "smoothskins" at this point. Only issue is the name can be a bit vague/ambiguous, but I think I get the idea. Here's a bunch of pics below of what I'd consider "Smoothskins". Unfortunately none of these pics are mine. If you don't want me posting your pics around just shoot me a PM, don't want to offend anyone. Pics below are a combination of Coral Reeftank, Sabellafella, Gws3, Anand (Collectors Corals), Battle Corals, 818 aquatics, TCK.

Also, if you want to debate that I'm off track with what a smoothskin is please tell me, cause I'm not sure if I know. Lol. Where I knew the name, it was provided in the file title. Unfortunately I was unable to ID a lot of these.

Well I went back and re-read the original posts of this thread. I guess the original premise was not "rainbow blue light corals"... So sorry if I'm derailing anything here lol.

Sorry I missed this one. Agree it's carduus which bares some resemblance to turaki and subglabra (which will have colored corallite tips like the "dragons" do).
