Hello I recently had a tank re- cycle and kill some fish of mine but my snowflake moray is MIA right now I haven't seen him in days. I took out the rocks looked through all the crevices and holes In them outside of the tank on the floor everything and I can't find him anywhere. I've even tried to lure him out with food and he doesn't come out like he used to he's completely gone. My levels are perfect right now and no sign of him. Does anyone know if they will instinctively bury themselves under the sand bed in sign of danger or anything?

Do you have a reef ready system? If so look in your overflows and your sump. Mine started in the display and after 3 straight days of taking him out of my sump (swam over the overflow and into the drain) I just left him in the sump where he has been ever since and is happy.

Yes I did look in the overflow and under my stand and around it behind the sump on the sides in the sump I have no clue where he could have gone

Do you have any other pets that could have ate it? I lost two of them many years ago due to drying up on the carpet. How large was it?

It was only about 8 or 9 inches and no I don't have anything that would eat it I still haven't seen it anywhere
