I joined Reef2Reef on the first of the year. I had been reading the threads for a couple of months. This is my first official Reef Tank and I wanted to start a build thread for it (I started a build for a 60 gallon but swapped it for the 75) before water went in, but I never got around to it.
I have found more information and better advice on here than anywhere else. I love this forum and I'm already hooked on reefing! I am trying to follow the experienced members' leads and so far it's paying off. Here's the tank after a fishless cycle and running about 3-4 months...

Congratulation! Reefing is challenging, rewarding and heartbreaking all at the same time. You're in for an adventure. Never be discouraged and realize any problems that you encounter are solutions waiting to be found.

Off to a good start, glad to see you are quarantining fish. That's usually the biggest issue with new people in the hobby and forces them to quit before they can get going.

And two of these 4 clowns were the first to go in. One Darwin and one Ocellaris. The other two went to my buddy who got me into this hobby.

My daughter named them ... Nemo and Marlon (original I know)

Thank you I didn't do a prophylactic treatment on the clownfish or goby. I really didn't know you should at that time. I know some don't, but all I did is watch them for 30 days and as far as I could tell didn't see any symptoms of anything. But my buddy who got me into the hobby just recently lost a lot of fish to Ich and now it's always going to be in the back of my mind that it COULD be in my tank.
