Sodium bicarbonate dosing questions

So i finally got some money to by a jebao doser, it isn’t continous like the crazy priced versa but i only need to dose 100ml a day, how many doses should i do a day, like 2ml at a time or could that cause imbalance in ph, thanks. By the way i have a 255 litre tank

Bicarbonate won't cause a pH swing. That's more of a concern with carbonate.

Will it not, i thought it would as it is increasing alkalinity

Well even if it doesn’t what is an alright amount to add without dumping in a bunch of alkalinity

It causes a tiny pH drop when first added.

It doesn’t really matter how you split the dose. I prefer to space it out over a 24 hour period.

You can split the dose every 8 hours; it should be easier to program the pump like that.
