Something is wrong with my Red Sea Sailfin!!!

I Dont know whats going on with her i think she was Stung by my red forest fire anenome the other day I checked the tank and it was in the corner acting very odd with torn fins at first thought it got into a fight with my clowns but there are no eggs so there is never usually a risk. The tank is almost 3 years old and its never had any issues but the Sail finally doesnt seem to be recovering and refuses to eat.


It was the 'tough guy' in the tank and now I feel like its got a neurological issue and dont know what to so has anyone experienced this before?

Todays the first day the main fin has been down prior to it had it fully up and she has lost weight and is always Dark now not turning Light again as normal

Tagging #fishmedic for help. To me, the fish looks really beat up, I doubt the anemone was the culprit.

Is it in with only clownfish?

When you say "fire anemone", is that one of the bubble tips? If so, then they wouldn't have caused this. There is another species that is sold as a "fire anemone" , Actinodendron and those can cause huge issues (I doubt you have one of those though).

Can you post a video of the tang taken under white lights?

It looks like the clowns are beating him up his fins are pretty torn up

He looks overall very underweight, the combination of stress and being emaciated could put him in a downward spiral. If you are feeding enough most likely a parasite.

What other behavior has he presented with? Any scratching or flashing? My main question is. Was anything wet added to your Tank in the last month or so?

Nothing has been added and he hasnt eaten in a week his very skinny now and just swimming in circles half the time or hiding

Lives with clowns 1 cardinal, 1 coral beauty and one dotty back the sailfin was always the boss and would always feed first the clowns only get territorial when they lay eggs which hasn't happened I assumed the find was self harm from bumping into things

I dont know what could have caused it or introduced the parasite they have all lived together for the past 2 years without any issues all other livestock are snails and a couple bristle star fish i dont know if I take him to the aqarium ir who to see about what he needs to get better

The thinness, rapid breathing and tattered fins, plus the circular swimming all show a serious set of symptoms. I don’t think this is from tankmate aggression given the fish it is in with. The symptoms all line up with a fluke infection, but I would have expected the coral beauty to show some symptoms as well.
