Spider bombs with tanks...

So the family is having problems with spiders and is turning to bombing the house, but we have a reef tank, Betta and leopard geckos. Geckos I can take with me but the tanks wil be staying and I need to come up with a way to keep them alive. I've read to wrap them up in plastic wrap (equipment included) and tape it shut.

What would truly be the best way to approach this situation?
