Spot on toadstool?

Hello everyone. I have a toadstool that has been in the same spot for nearly 2 years. Tonight I noticed a white spot on its flesh. It opens everyday but I was wondering if anyone knows what it could be? The pic makes it look gray but my eyes show the spot to be white. There are no new fish, inverts or other changes.

Looks like the start of a shedding

Mine does this every few months and parts of it break off and grow new toadstools.

So I’m not really concerned because I know they shed and such but was thinking maybe it was going to drop a baby. Thanks guys! I’ll update this if that’s what happens or things take a turn.

Drop a baby is what I was referring to just a different way of saying it. Here mine is going through it I touched it so you can see it better.
