Any ideas what these might be? Otherwise acting totally normal. Had a clownfish randomly dead on bottom of tank today though.

Hi Jay. Thank yo for this. Right now it seems like the only fish. I can pull him out and bring him to my LFS for treatment. Is that the best option? Those are either mucus plugs and/or marine ich. I can see some spots on the fins, so I’d lean more towards ich. Do any other fish have spots yet?
The clownfish dying is likely unrelated. It would have been covered in spots if it had died from ich.
You’re going to need to treat all of the fish for ich with either coppersafe or hyposalinity. Trouble is, you can’t do that in a tank with invertebrates present.
If that’s the only fish in the tank, then that would be ok. You would need to leave the tank fishless for 60 days for the parasite to die out though.Hi Jay. Thank yo for this. Right now it seems like the only fish. I can pull him out and bring him to my LFS for treatment. Is that the best option?
I think you mean the only 'sick' fish. All of your fish need to be treated with copper. Perhaps your LFS can take all of them. If not - its pretty easy to set up a quarantine/hospital tankHi Jay. For sure think it’s ich? Any chance it was stung by something? If that’s the only fish in the tank, then that would be ok.
