I haven't added anything new in months but I have gotten lines of missing tissue on a couple of corals.

Any ideas of what it could be?

Have you noticed any pests? If that's a flame angel in the back I'd keep an eye on him.

I have not seen any pest. I have two tanks hooked to the same sump. I have had white spots on some corals in the other tank. I thought it was due to changing lights a few months ago. When I seen this one it made me suspect pest, but yeah that is a flame angel. These pics are from the other tank with no angel.

I highly doubt your issues are from your angelfish. Your picks aren’t quite clear enough for me to diagnose AEFW but those symptoms could be from it. Look closely for little orange/brown eggs that are a little bigger than a grain of salt. They will usually be in the dead tissue area or on the rock right by dead tissue. Also, then your pumps off and blast your colonies with a turkey blaster. See I’d anything flies off.

Can you get a shot of the white spots? That’s a telltale sign of aefw.

I'm not the best at taking pictures. I do have a DSLR. I will see if I can get it out and figure out how to take some better pictures with it.

Could be urchin damage, if you have any? Doesn't look like AEFW

There are no urchins in the tank. The tank is almost 3 years old. the last time I added anything to the aquarium was around July. The only corals I have lost a long time were because they grew until they got to close to another Coral. I had made some changes to my lights and had three small Acro colonies bleach. They had started coming back. Then I noticed some areas that had started coloring backup turn white again. Then I had a small frag that had a stripe up one side and down the other. These had all been in the same tank. Then I noticed the frag which is almost a year old with these white lines around it. I've also noticed some white spots and my coralline algae that's on the rock.

have you tracked alkalinity since changing the lights? If they stopped or slowed uptake after the light change and dosage remained the same could be a dkh jump, which could cause both the corals and coraline to do that.
