Hello i’m planning a frag tank for sps (mainly acros). i got a 60g that i plan to take down and create into a fuge with deep sand bed or something. would a fuge benefit sps at all? or is it just another way to export nutrient? interested to see yalls experience.

A fuge is typically used as nutrient export. With a frag tank with only frags in it, you may find it hard to keep nutrients up without the addition of fish. I’d add a fuge only if needed later on. If you keep fish in the tank, then a fuge may be beneficial depending on the bioload.
