Lost Bob and one of the cardinals over the vacation. Some of the shrooms appear shriveled and mad. Testing shows ultra high calcium. Going to do a water change and use some of the water from the 180 which is pretty spot on. Hoping that helps.

Happy dance. Just caught Onyx in one of the nems. Watching looks like she is trying to get Opal up there to play too. She swims up to the nem, snuggles in, then back down to Opal. Like hey man come follow me I found some cool digs.

Opal seems happy on his cyphastrea rock. I'm not sure he realizes he's a he yet.

Love it when the clowns find their nem. I’ve had one pair that would never go in Had the pair with a nem for 9 years and no go.

If mine don’t find that csb “glowing in my tank” I’m gonna put a leash on them and they can play tether ball all day around it :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I had to move opal. He was getting harassed. And we have a no tolerance policy here for that. But seriously it was getting bad. Onyx was at him constantly and had him pinned down. I grabbed him and put him in the 180g. Since Bonnie lost Clyde and there are only 2 other fish in there now at least he has a better? chance. We will see. Bonnie may just eat him who knows.

My female kicks the fins off my male all day and he stays on the opposite side of the tank.. lights go off they go home together… I guess they’re married but not mated.. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: I’m thinking about adding a second pair of standard ones.. I currently have storms

My clowns divorced at some point but they are civil. I guess the split was amicable. She took the house though.

I moved opal bc he wasn't even putting up any fight and she was constantly at him. I watched it and it didn't seem healthy for it. I would have moved Onyx but it's bigger and already with the nem. Love that white clown and really hope he makes it in the big tank.

For the shroomie tank may I introduce ebony and ivory (or Ying and yang I havent decided) and Bob.

Ebony is a Domino clown and ivory is a Wtoming white. Bob is a male McCoskers Flasher wrasse.
Maybe these clowns will go for the anemones, Bonnie and Clyde never did.
Also got 6 neon tetras for the fw tank and a pack of frozen food.
One store had both the angel and the trigger I wanted but I am not adding anything nice to the 180g until Pu and the Devil are out.

Just finished getting thru all 18 pages of shenanigans.
If I would have known you were going out to Aquatic Tech, you could have stopped by and gotten a few frags from me. I would have recommended another store maybe 5 to10 minutes from there.(4 minutes the way I drive).

Thanks for the offer will hit you up next time. I am going to plan another trip out that way julyish. I know of the "other" store. I get claustrophobic there. I will definately let you know when I head back down that a way. Can't wait till October and the show. Are you planning on going?

Update on the office tank. It's been a bit and I have mashed alot of it on the main build thread. But there is big news. I am getting a mantis shrimp. Not a peacock (yet). Just a regular N. Wennerae. Since this tank now houses my outcasts thought why not mix it up. The domino damsel (satan) and the clown ( the black menace) will now have to make room in Thunderdome for this. Wont ship till 10/24 so i have time to think of a name but i am going to do a semi teardown/rebuild this weekend. I want to add some pvc, a bit more sand and some gravel for it. And do a bit of rescaping.
