Starfish lost an arm Do I need to do anything?

My brittle star lost an arm and their is a hole in his body.

do I need to do anything. I imagine it was my trigger at night?

I have had brittle star fush lose an arm. Along with sandsifting stars and chocolate chip stars and they all regrew there arms and that's also a way they reproduce.
