I have a RedSea Reefer 350 v3, I have literally nothing other than the tank, stand, sump and a RODI system that needs new filters, which all need to be cleaned.

I'm not trying to get fish or coral in ASAP but definitely want to get it cycling, like with just live rock or something that will help.

  1. Return Pump only thing needed for cycling? I have a full list of what I will need for when it is a full fledged Reef Tank.
  2. Also what will I need to do/add on to my RODI system to make sure its pumping out proper water (this one sat in guys garage for a while after he upgraded his RODI).
Pics in thread feel free to DM if you want

*350 v3 AND RODI ARE 2ND HAND* he said tank was set up for a short time and had sat dry for a while, I need to disinfect all the plumbing and tank and sump any tips or a specific product to use?

I have tank currently filled w tap water to check for leaks nothing so far and its been over 48hr.

I would recommend having a filter (remove small sediment in the water from the sand) and heater if you have a live rock (otherwise it might not be so live anymore)

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
