Experienced reefer starting a pico. Really looking for advice on stocking, lighting and tank options. Tips for pico specific from experience also welcome for maintenance that is different from traditional higher gallon reef tanks. Thanks in advance

Good luck with it! In mine I have sexy shrimp, a hermit crab, porcelain crab, pompom crab and a few snails. I had upside down gobies but lost them due to my filter accidently getting turned off.

Will probably be going with the reef casa tank and halo light. Yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp with various lps/softies and I may even get wild with an easy to grow sps or two. Live rock, live sand and live ocean water. Live phyto and pods every week or so until well established then just phyto from thereout. I may just do the watchman goby by itself though, the destructive nature of the shrimp may not be suitable. I could then add something like a fire shrimp or similar in its place.. hmm. Not sure yet but this is where I'm at rn.
