@Pennywise the Clown corals are looking good. What make doser did you get?
Thanks mate.

Went for the Jebao DP-3. Mainly because I'm away for a week next week and wanted something in place before leaving. And I watched a couple of YT vids where it got very good reviews for the price.
I've been very impressed with it so far.

My little reef looking great this morning. Upping my light intensity and adding a doser for stability has definitely made a difference.
My Blueberry Fields acro and milleporas are starting to take off. My hammers, which had started to look pale, have colored up.
I'm also having to dose nitrates and phosphates a couple of days a week to get any reading which is also helping.

I'm excited to see how this little fella matures. It did nothing for a couple of months and then in the last week or two has really started to take off.

A new frag added, a nice and chunky Strawberry Shortcake. Only been in the display a couple of hours but starting to color up and extend polyps.

I lost one of my clowns to a bacterial infection a few weeks ago so I decided to add a small juvenile in the hope that my existing clown would accept it.
Unfortunately the new addiction got instantly attacked by both the clown and my algae blenny so was removed after 10 minutes and returned to my LFS.
After taking advice from here I bought myself a acclamation box and tried again. This time it worked a treat and my clown has accepted the new fish.
The clown instantly found a home in my torch coral while the other is happy in her hammers. I have a BTA inches away which they both completely ignore.
Stupid clowns.
Here is a pic, the new clown is the lighter colour.

Had a few issues lately with my acros tips burning and actually lost one of my millies. I put this down to high alk and low nutrients so I've changed my salt fro Red Sea Coral pro to the blue bucket.
I've also changed my source water to a zero TDS guaranteed source. This will keep me going until I get around to buying my own rodi unit.
A few new corals added, 3 acros and a couple of digis.

The latest addition to the gang, a little baby Yellow Tang. I figure that I've got a couple of years before an upgrade is needed. It will be a good excuse.

My sps experiment has had mixed results.
Some acros have thrived, a couple have faded away and some have done nothing at all.

Late to your thread but thumbs up!!! :)

I am thinking of using Caribsea life rock as well for my Reefer 250 build. You are just using one batch of 40lbs Caribsea shapes? Did you mix it with other types of Caribsea life rocks?
