Hello all,

I am nearing completion on my fully DIY 150gallon reef tank. The tank that I made is 60”x24”x24” and has a 50gallon sump. I am using about 2” of sand, as well as some NSA rock sculptures I made (about 120lbs of rock). The sump will contain an 11”x11”x11” chaeto refugium, 4L+ of Seachem Matrix, some additional reef saver rock, and a protein skimmer (have not decided on the model yet).

This will be my first official saltwater tank (I currently have a 10g QT going), although I have been in the freshwater side of the hobby for 9+ years and was breeding discus and corydora for some time.

I am looking for any input on my desired stock list, which is below. I would love to hear thoughts on compatibility, potential issues, too many or too few, or any alternatives/additions.

Along with this list I plan to have a mixture of SPS and LPS corals..

2 DaVinci clowns (currently in QT)
CUC (mostly trochus snails, 1-2 skunk shrimp, 1 red fire shrimp)

4 fire fish
3 anthias
4 banggai cardinal
1 Goby/shrimp pair
1 Sand sifting goby
1 Lawnmower blennie
1-3 compatible wrasses (fairy/flasher)

1 Yellow or purple tang (both if possible but my initial research leans towards no)
1 Blue throat trigger
1 Square tail tang
1 Fox face

I plan to do the first section of the list over time in groups after quarantine to let the more docile inhabitants settle in. Then the final group together after QT to reduce aggression/territorial disputes.

I am looking forward to any and all input

Thank you!
