I’ve been setting up a 26 gal tank. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/office-tank-adventure.1144777/
It is in my office.
What are some good stocking suggestions?
I want to have a mixed tank, softs, lps, maybe eventually sps.
I love invertebrates as well as fish, but the small size will obviously limit what I can do.
Right now my only fish is a clown. On the invert side I have 4 snails, 3 hermit crabs (blue), 2 peppermint shrimp, and an emerald crab.

in my 25 im going with 2 clowns (had them for about 10 years and too long to get rid of now), a yasha goby and candystripe shrimp pair, and a clown goby.
firefish are good for this size as well as smaller blennies like tailspot.
for the inverts, def more snails and a variety of species like cerith and nassarius etc. hermits and peppermint shrimp are fine but will steal food from and generally bother corals. ive had emerald crabs go after lps in the past so i dont use them either. But i can understand using peppermint and emeralds if you have aiptasia and bubble algae.
slower and larger hermits like scarlet, halloween, and electric blue (Calcinus elegans) dont seem to have this issue for me

To create the candy stripe goby pair, are there any special steps, or just put both in and they will find each other?
Also how deep should the sand be for the candy stripe?
